About
Founded in 2016 by BHI award winner Kes Crockett and Rolex specialist Will Daw following years of training and professional work in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter. Crockett & Daw moved in spring 2021 to the heart of the Cotswolds, Cirencester. Our independent workshop is here to look after you and your watch, undertaking each project with the care and attention our clients have come to expect. From start to finish we maintain open channels of communication to ensure complete peace of mind whilst your precious timepiece is in our possession.
Our Team
Our close knit team at Crockett & Daw comprises two full time, professionally trained watchmakers, Kes Crockett and Will Daw, alongside experienced workshop administrator, Sacha Byrne.
Kes Crockett
Watchmaker MBHI
Kes has in-depth knowledge on a range of manufacturers, having spent a number of years working in the watch department of one the UK's leading auction houses. Completing his degree in horology with first class honours, he is also a double award winner with The British Horological Institute and has attended a number of additional, calibre specific, training courses. Happy to work on all of the major brands, he especially enjoys Omega watches from the 1950s onwards.
When not at the bench repairing watches, Kes spends the majority of his spare time trying to persuade his disobedient German Short Haired Pointer to come back during countryside walks!
Will Daw
Watchmaker
Will comes from a family of watchmakers and brings valuable industry experience and a first class honours Horology degree, awarded by the internationally renowned School of Jewellery in Birmingham. Having worked initially with Aurum group, Will later moved to a respected independent luxury watch specialist where he honed his skills at the bench alongside an experienced, highly regarded Rolex trained watchmaker. Although a specialist in all things Rolex, Will is equally happy working on other luxury brands such as Tag Heuer, Cartier, Breitling and Omega.
Away from the workshop, Will enjoys working out, reviewing red wine and planning an epic trip to the highlands he is yet to make.
Sacha
Workshop Administrator
Sacha joined Crockett & Daw following fifteen years of employment with longstanding local jeweller R.A.O'Donnell. Prior to joining R.A. O'Donnell she completed her National Diploma in Design Crafts and BTEC in jewellery. Sacha comes with a wealth of knowledge, not only in the field of watches, but also jewellery and gem stones.
She gained her Jewellery Education & Training Level 1 and 2 through the NAG with distinction.
