Omega

At Crockett & Daw, we understand the sentimental and financial value of your Omega. We offer a full range of services to maintain and repair your watch in order to ensure it may run for decades to come. With years of experience working with Omega models of all ages, we are well placed to work on your watch, whether it be a Co-Axial chronometer or vintage Seamaster.

Omega Servicing Process

We stock an extensive collection of spare parts covering a range of Omega watch models, with all servicing and repair work carried out on-site, in our insured, specialist servicing workshop. Using state of the art machinery and equipment we are able to bring your watch back to manufacturer standards in both functionality and appearance.

During the servicing of your watch, the movement is dismantled into it's individual components, with each being checked for wear or damage, and then cleaned using our ultrasonic cleaning machine. The movement is then reassembled and lubricated adhering to manufacturer guidelines throughout.

The case and bracelet are cleaned, with new gaskets fitted to ensure water resistance, before the movement, case and bracelet are reunited ready for post-service testing.

Case and bracelet refinishing is available during the servicing process as an optional extra, should you wish to bring the aesthetics of your watch back to showroom condition.

Omega History

****Founded in Paris in 1847, Cartier has become one of the world's most iconic watch brands. Originally known for their exquisite jewelry, Cartier expanded to watchmaking in the early 20th century. Their watches quickly gained popularity among the elite, with notable clients including King Edward VII, Princess Grace of Monaco, and Elizabeth Taylor. Cartier is known for their iconic designs, including the Tank and the Santos, which continue to inspire watchmakers today.****

Omega Servicing Frequency

Like all machines, regular servicing is essential in order to ensure the long term health of your Omega. A well looked after watch will last a lifetime and still be functional for the next generation to enjoy. We recommend your Omega be serviced every 3 to 5 years.

Omega quartz models may not require such regular servicing but should still have routine water resistance testing and replacement gaskets every year or two when a replacement battery is fitted

This will dramatically reduce the chance of expensive, and increasingly rare parts needing to be replaced due to preventable wear or damage.
It is in many cases a false economy to delay the servicing of your watch, waiting for a problem to arise. Should the worst happen, a full restoration can easily cost many multiples of a routine service, and should some parts of the watch such as dial and hands need replacing, could significantly diminish the value of your Omega.
